Split Airport taxi: what you need to know
How to get to Split, Trogir or Makarska, how long it takes and how to agree the price in advance.

Split Airport is in Kaštela, about twenty kilometres from Split city centre and a few kilometres from Trogir. A taxi is the easiest way to get straight to your accommodation with your luggage.
Book ahead or take a taxi at the exit
Taxis wait outside the terminal, but you can also arrange your ride in advance. You know the price before you land, and if you send us your flight number we know when you are delayed.
How long the ride takes
- Split city centre: about 30 minutes
- Trogir: about ten minutes
- Makarska: more than an hour
Summer traffic through Kaštela is heavy, so leave extra time when you are catching a flight.
Paying
Rides go by the meter or by a price agreed in advance. The tariff must be displayed in the vehicle. If you want to pay by card, ask before the ride.
